Strategist Scott T. Schultz leads the SIA investment
team. Mr. Schultz has been actively involved with the
securities industry since 1983 and has worked with leading
firms including E. F. Hutton, Merrill Lynch and Kemper.
Over the years, Mr. Schultz has utilized a wide range
of investment vehicles and strategies to meet clients’
needs. Early in his career, he began to seriously explore
how the unique structure and pricing of closed-end funds
could be utilized to serve the objectives of both individual
and institutional clients. His research led to the development
of the proprietary closed-end fund database and fund
evaluation methodology that is the cornerstone of the
SIA investment approach.
SIA is a specialized closed-end fund manager, and Mr.
Schultz is regularly invited to speak at financial industry
forums and investment conferences. He has also appeared
as a market commentator on numerous radio and television
programs, such as CNN-fn, Fox Business News and The
Bloomberg News Forum, among others.
